Kawasaki Vulcan mean streak VN1600 SpeedoHealer Installation Manual
SpeedoHealer Installation : 1. remove the left foot peg by removing the two 14 mm bolts securing to the motorcycle frame. 2. Next remove 10 mm bolt Breaks the selector on the farm. (Note: you may wish to select levers position in relation to the gear shaft to aid in the correct location during reassembly). 3. remove the four 5 mm Allen bolts holding on the left side cover. 4. When the cover is removed speed sensor , find and disconnect. 5 cables Plug-in. speedohealer in-line with the speed sensor connector you disconnected. (Note: the supplied cables are red. I encapsulated mine with 3/8, 5? flexible tubing to protect additional cable and give it a stock appearance.) 6. Route delivered SH wires where you want to mount the speedohealer. (I placed my rear panel on the left) It made for an easy installation, shielded electronics and there is already a hole to assist in routing the cable. 7. reinstall the cover and Allen bolts. 8. reinstall the Symbol shifter handle attention to index trademarks you made earlier and tighten the bolt 10 mm. 9. Reinstall the left foot pole and tighten 14 mm bolts. Now, open the speedohealer on-line calculator to calibrate your speedometer.
