2005-2007 Saturn Relay, Buick Terraza, Chevrolet Uplander front door Outer Panel replacement

Refer to the approved equipment to repair collision caution alerts and notifications. Before starting repair, refer to the metal Panel bonding adhesive applicator for proper preparation and general information.
1. disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to the battery negative cable disconnect/connect procedure electric motor.
2. disconnect the Sir system. Contact Sir disabling and enabling zones, Sir.
3. remove the door of the vehicle. Contact the door replacement-front door.
4. remove the outside door handles. Refer to the door handle replacement-front outside the door.
5. remove the outside rearview mirror. Contact the mirror replacement-power in the door.
6. find and drill bits from all welds plant. Note the number and location of the seams in the upper window frame and mirror sites.
7. Grind the edge of the outer door panels to separate external door casing.
8. Remove external doors.
9. remove the sealants and anti-corrosion materials from the repair, if necessary. Call anti-corrosion treatment and recovery in the paint/coating.
10. align the edges of the door casing.
The installation procedure:
1. Grind the surface of the shell door mating flanges bare steel.
2. scuff opposite mating surface of the outer door panels to remove gloss E-coat.
3. plug the drill holes of weld 8 mm (5/16 in) deep in places, if necessary, from the original Panel.
Important
If the hole Weld original plugin cannot be determined or if the structural welding thru the glue space plugin welded holes every 25.4 mm (1) of each other.
4. prepare all mating surfaces if necessary.
5. the use of 3 m ® weld-Thru cover P/N 05916 or equivalent of all mating surfaces.
