1995-1999, the Buick Riviera CR-103-RES back instructions

Enhance and support the vehicle, allowing the pendants hang free.
Remove the wheel.
Disconnect the plug electric shock-absorber.
Supports arm control with Jack stand or screw Jack to release the spring load.
Remove the lower shock absorber nut (s) and bolt (s).
Remove the upper mounting nut (s). On some models the screws fastening the top shock are located in the trunk for trim lid.
Remove the shock from the vehicle. On some models you may need to compress the shock by hand to remove from the installation.

LIGHT DISARM RESISTORS
resistors connected in the wiring at each wheel to bypass the original wetting Solenoid that sensing cableways will work without specifying the driver error message suspension on the instrument.

INSTALLATION OF RESISTORS
Lose the wires leading to dampening solenoid shock strut. Connect the wires to the ends of resistor. (This is in-line resistor so it does not matter which wire goes in or out). Tape thus ends with appropriate electrical tape to prevent shorts and corrosion. Tie back out of the way with a plastic strap.

NOTES:
Resistors are intended only for crawling dampening solenoids do not disable the entire system. Check codes, make sure that you do not have other problems that cause the error message suspension. In order to get an accurate reading of any problems, you might be occuring, it will be necessary to clear all codes suspension and then test drive the car and watch for the suspension of any error messages. If you have any problems getting fixed resistors, you can delete the original wetting solenoids of strut/shock and restore them and tie them back to the side
