Buick & executive instructions for collector B4B V8 engines 400-455 c.i.d. Buick
Edelbrock performer manifold # 2146 & # 2515 consumption will work with 400, 430 and 455 c.i.d. big block Buick engines. Singer # 2146 is intended for placement of the source of cold air induction hood, while # 2515 puts carb B4B pad for optimal allocation. These collectors to optimize performance for engines operating in the idle range of 5500 RPM. They are compatible with the OEM Carburetors that use divorced style or electrical shutter tube model hot air will need to have them choke is converted to electric or disabled. These consumption manifolds are recommended for street rods and street-performance applications. When used with any mix of secondary market equipment designed for simple operation 5500 rpm, increase productivity even more.

• EMISSION systems: these collectors won't accept stocks EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) equipment or heated exhaust chokes. EGR system used on most of the 1972 model year and later vehicles. These manifolds are also not compatible with the systems of air (air injection reactor) and 5/16 "holes should be inserted in 1972 and later cylinder head. Check your local laws for requirements. These collectors are not legal for use on emission controlled any vehicle requiring such equipment.

• The CARBURETTOR recommendations: artist manifolds # 2146 & # 2515 is intended for use with Edelbrock or original equipment carburettor. Carburettor Kit Stud # 8008 or # 8024 can be used to mount either style carburettor. When you use the Edelbrock carburetor performer consumption # 2146, square bore adapter plate included in the field should be used between consumption and the carburettor with a gasket on both sides. B4B, consumption # 2515 was developed for deployment as a square bore and spread bore carburettors without adapter. Please note that Edelbrock Carburetors have no provision for evaporative canister or EGR.
• THROTTLE brackets: due to the design of these manifolds and throttle kickdown bracket on some vehicles may require modification to fit.
• PADS: these manifolds are compatible with a piece of material, for example, Edelbrock # 7246, when used with factory Valley
Pan, or with seals, which have a pan-European integration, such as Fel-Pro # MS96005 (1967-1971) or # MS96014 (1972-1976).
