Bushtec trailer installation instructions for the BMW K1200LT

THESE STEPS MUST BE PERFORMED IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER:
1. place motorcycle on his centerstand on level ground and lift the front seat. Remove the screws (2), which took a back seat in place with a 5 mm Allen key. Remove the seat and set it aside.2. lift the lid of the trunk and have your assistant hold open, screw that retention retractable cable in place and let it retract cord reels. WARNING: DO NOT LET FALL THE LID, DAMAGE MAY OCCUR.
3. remove the liner at the bottom of the barrel and (4) bolts that hold the trunk frame using 5 mm Allen key. Close and latch the lid of the trunk, find and disable (2) tubes that connect the trunk on the motorcycle. Lift the barrel from the motorcycle and set it aside.
4. (2) T25 TORX screws from the front and (4) bolts (4 mm Allen Socket) from the back of the black, which covered the rear of the motorcycle (above) and set it aside.
5. open both saddlebag lids and (2) T25 TORX screws that hold the black numbered group in the back of a motorcycle, then remove the plate and set it aside. Remove the screws (2) that hold the taillight in place by 10 mm socket, (located to the left and right of the bike just inside the saddlebags), and disable and taillight. Delete (2) 3 mm Allen screw head from the top of the back panel and (8) the remaining T25 TORX screws (3 either side and 2 under plate
6. disconnect the taillight connector on the back panel and delete groups. NOTE: YOU SHOULD PRESS THE RUBBER GROMMET BACK TO REMOVE IT COMPLETELY.
7. install the rear plate support frame using provided (8) ¼ ' -20 Nylock nuts, (4) ¼ "-20 x 1 ½" U-bolts and (4) U-bolt back plate. (4) U-bolts around the frame, as shown in Photo # 1 (this may be necessary for the distribution of U-bolts slightly to fit around the frame). Install the rear support plate on the rear of the frame and run U-bolts through it. Installing backing plate and ¼ "Nylock nuts in each -20 U-bolt, as shown in Photo # 2. DO NOT TIGHTEN AT THIS TIME.
