AWE Tuning Wizard S-Flo Air Intake Kit for Audi S4/A6 2.7 T
While simple in principle produce S-Flo to 2.7 l twin turbo very specific increases in engine power and smoothness. The improvements are from a combination of air filter design (unique venturi-shaped base of ITG filter) and the precise mandrel bent transition tube. Our scanning tool measurements recorded an average increase of 25 grams per second of air through the mass air flow sensor (MAF), with a dramatically smoother flow path. Install instructions: Installer takes 5-1 hr, and should be done in a cool motor, with the key from the ignition. PARTS LIST:
ITG conical air filter
Mandrel bent aluminium transition pipes with o-ring
Silicone coupler with 2 hose clamps
ZIP ties
TOOLS REQUIRED: Long and medium flat blade screwdrivers, pliers.
Step 1: Open Pop hood and Find air box on the passenger's side of the engine compartment. Remove trim cover by pulling upward.
Step 2: remove the air box cable channel by pulling upward and outward.
Step 3: disconnect the mass Air Flow sensor (MAF). Do it by pushing the tab inward wiring connection.
Step 4: disconnect the ignition module slots on top of the air box. Cut the zip-tie (marked with arrow). Use the enclosed zip ties during reinstallation.
Step 5: Pop open plastic clips holding snakes to air box flat head screwdriver.
Step 6: Remote air intake tube. Loosen the screw clamp holding type hose pipes to MAF at one end, and press with pliers to loosen in the intake manifold.
Important: Please note rubber plugs fit-ted within each end of the tube. Make sure these plugs is prop-erly seated when reinstalling tube.
