Honda VLX VT-600 Sissy Bar Kit Installation Manual
1. remove the seat from your motorcycle, remove the 2 screws in the middle of your space. There is one screw on each side. If there has never been a sissy bar installed on your bike, it may be necessary to drill holes in the fender to mount the sissy bar in space provided by Honda. Hear your maintenance manual for more information regarding this procedure. 2. attach the mounting rails to each side of the Panel sissy. Use (4) 8 x 20 mm screws (4) Lock washers, flat washers and locking nuts to secure the mounting rails to sissy bar. (If you luggage racksalso install, install the luggage rack on the inside of the mounting rails). 3. Attach tabs (4) fitted to the inside of Rails with bend fitting tab pointed downwards. Use (4) 8 mm socket head bolts and 8 mm flat washers in order to ensure the tabs fitted to the Rails. 4. plug the flat head screws in the mounting tabs, followed by the spacers. 5. place the sissy bar Assembly on motorcycle and appendage (4) screws on toolbar sissy onto motorcycle. Use 8 mm locking washers and nuts under fender and tighten. 6. replace the seat to the motorcycle and tighten the screws.
