1997-2003 BMW 5-series instructions for part 95-9307B

• Housing • Radio Radio trim plates • brackets clips Panel PC-7503 • (4)
• (8) PFH-12 mm flush mount ISO screws • (2) the MBM-12 Phillips screws
95-9307B BMW 5 SERIES DASH SHOWDOWN 1997-2003
1. disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent accidental short circuits.
2. delete the volume by dragging to the rear of the vehicle.
3. use a screwdriver Torx T-10 release screw 90° behind the volume, then pull out at the bottom of the radio and delete. (Figure a) Note: leave the Torx driver in place to help out on the radio.
4. unplug the wires.
5. Delete (2) a Torx T-10 screws securing the top of the factory radio, unclip and (figure b)
6. unplug the wires.
7. an Unclip and remove wood trim above the glove box and to the left of the radio. (Figure. (C))
8. remove the Phillips screw, restraint (2) sidebars on the central console, and then move forward panels unclip and remove them. (Figure. (D))
9. an Unclip and remove (2) side supports the glove box with the open glove box. (Fig. E)
10. Delete (2) Phillips screws securing the group inside the left hand glove box, and then remove the Panel. (Figure. (F))
