1994-1999 Years Cadillac Deville, Seville and instructions for installing Motor blower Eldorado

This Motor blower has undergone some changes in the design so changed as installation procedures. The original engine was a two piece Motor and wheel provided with screw. GM changed the design in one piece unit with heat shield, and fiberglass wheel is pressed. On some models, you might want to remove the front cradle bolts, motor can rocked forward. This will help keep the valve cover from interfering with the replacement of blower Motor. On all models; Disconnect the negative battery cable.

DELETE
At the 1994 and 1995 model years: note below removal procedures pertain to Motor blower OE, which was established by the two piece.
Delete the cross Tower or cross brace member. Disable the purge solenoid valve connectors electric and vacuum. Position components side for access.
Remove purge solenoid valve. Remove the 3 screws and inertia centre plate of Motor blower.
Install the two screws to prevent Motor and housing from the Division. Disconnect the plug wires from Motor blower. Delete 5 blower mounting screws.


In 1994, models:
Remove the map sensor bracket. Tilt the engine case and detach the wheel. Remove the blower Motor.
For the 1995 model year:
Cut rubber insulator on guide lines and removing metal patch plate underneath. Remove connectors, cooling sleeves and mounting screws. Remove the blower Motor.
In 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 model years:
Note: there is a flat side flange motor blower, which is placed in 11:0. Electrical connector is in 2:0.
In addition to the disassembly steps listed on earlier models, disconnect the electric ignition 4 module slots. Disconnect the number 5 and 7 spark plug wires.
Remove the 3 screws and inertia centre plate. Replace the two screws to the engine and the housing is not selected when deleting. 5 remove the blower motor mounting screws. Rotate counterclockwise Assembly until in flat edge is in 6:0. Remove the blower Motor.
