1. the installer of the lift at the rear of the bike over the floor, 6.35-8, 5? clearance between floor and rear wheel the bottom of is recommended. If a frame type Elevator is not available, an automotive type screw jack or hydraulic floor jack can be used in conjunction with a 24? long 2, 5? x 4 5? by 2, 5? x 4 5? turned across the rear tire, before lifting towards the bottom of the swingarm. Lift the bike well above 8, 5?, and Insert a set of jack stands under the frame (not the swingarm) as far to the rear as possible, but just prior to the swingarm pivot point at the rear. Make sure that you have help available for this exercise, to steady the bike while lifting and assist with marketing jack stands. Attempt this alone can be dangerous! 2. loosen the 27 mm rear axle nut located in RH side of the swingarm. Keep the LH side of the shaft with a 22 mm wrench, while Loosening nut with a pull bar and 27 mm socket (or large adjustable wrench). Loosen only at 2 revolutions. 3. using a 14 mm 6 point socket, remove the rear brake adjustment nut from a brake linkage. When removed, the dumped imports as the brake pedal and remove the brake rod and spring brake lever on from the rear brake drum. Push the round Insert from brake lever on the rear brake drum, glide it to brake root and reinstalling 14 mm rear brake adjustment nut on the brake rod. This will ensure all the components until you are ready for reassembly.
