BMW audio system upgrade 5-series E34 1989-95
There are some steps to update the radio at the BMW E34:
I. in this update we consider shortcomings of the bass factory
and underpowered factory amp. Exchange systems are not equipped with subwoofers. Thus first investments better add to the existing system. To add a subwoofer for the plant systems we need an amplifier to power it. We have several choic-es here, depending on the budget. Least expensive alternative would be to use one 310rs. 2, along with the P450 amplifier. Powering the new subwoofer with any in the directory/d/s/P-series amplifier will use an additional AC502 bass controller level for Up-front bass level adjustment.
The next step will be replaced under the formation front speaker system with 235is, which will be mounted to the reserve front seats. As with most BMW models are defined by factory stylists speaker not acousticians. Thus we recommend to update 3-way stock system with 2-way system.
LL. to upgrade, we will use the same installation front speaker as in phase I.
This will add a couple to/d/s/coaxial speakers 235im rear fill and one to/d/s/312rs subwoofer in custom 1.25 cu ft. fields in the trunk. Custom box offers better control of the driver for the woofer coupled with a higher level of playing. It will be installed in such a way that it "fires" across the ski bag.
Capacity for renewal, (II) will come in from out of a/d/s/P850 amp and will be distributed as follows:
50 w on each kit front speakers
50 w on each kit rear speakers
80 Watts each voice coil 312rs from channels 5/6 and 7/8
