2001-2002 Honda GL1800/GL1800A rear Tire Inspection Manual

1. find a motorcycle for a Punch mark as described in the identification on page 2. If a Punch mark is no longer current action is required, return the unit to the customer. 2. classify the device/client as follows: • Ice tire in the motorcycle the original factory-installed tire? • Air pressure Ice loss more than three psi per month? Note: see page 145 in the instruction manual. "Even tyres are in good condition can lose one to two pounds per month if not checked and corrected regularly." If GL1800 meets the above qualifications, continue the procedure repair. 3. place motorcycle on an elevator and ensure center ableit on. 4 the rear wheel . remove as described on page 14-9 in the service manual. 5. start at the valve stem/balance select area, carefully remove the rear tire from the wheel. Be sure to use plenty of commercially available tire lubricant on the inside and outside both glass beads. 6. Carefully examine the entire perimeter of both tire glass beads. Inspect both inside and outside bead for any distortion or injuries.
