1989 Volvo 740 check fuel pumps, fuel and pressure Regulator
The track connection between the fuel manifold and fuel distribution, you must use a hose-5116 and nipple 5265, Plug the open end of the hose with c(2004) 2566. Enable gauge cock to position 1, incoming hose 5116. B13 Check function of the fuel pump and tank pump pressure sensor located next to the expansion in the engine compartment. Disconnect the connectors from the sensor. Turn on the ignition. Connect the cables (connector) from the transmission to the ground. (Note: both in tubes, yellow/black, find out which one is the ground). The fuel should be run and clearly heard. B14 Check tank pump, Unscrew the CAP and the filler funnel. It is also possible to connect ammeter between fuse and electrical pumps. 740 1985 on: fuse 11 760 to 1987: fuse 11 760 1988/89: fuse current consumption 11/30: 1-2 (A). If it is running or pump: turn off the ignition.
